From Fr Mike Shanahan | Sunday, September 27, 2020
For the past couple of months, you have been warmly greeted upon entering church and guided to your pew by our team of volunteer ushers. They carefully spray sanitizer on your hands upon entering and again before receiving communion. They check the names of every single person that enters. After all have left the church, our volunteers carefully clean every single pew that was used for that service. They have several additional responsibilities as well. This happens during every service that takes place for our Sunday masses, Tuesday morning ma...

Readings for September 27, 2020
Twenty-fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time Lectionary: 136 Reading 1  EZ 18:25-28  Thus says the LORD: You say, "The LORD's way is not fair!" Hear now, house of Israel: Is it my way that is unfair, or rather, are not your ways unfair? When someone virtuous turns away from virtue to commit iniquity, and dies, it is because of the iniquity he committed that he must die. But if he turns from the wickedness he has committed, he does what is right and just, he shall preserve his life; since he has turned away from all the sins that he has ...

Why A Concert Now? Message from Fr Mike
WHY A PARISH CONCERT NOW? One of the greatest gifts of life is to have a sense of purpose. When we know what we are here for we find motivation, commitment and courage. I am grateful for the constant support in donations of time, talent and treasure. Consider our Soup Kitchen for example. You, the parishioners and friends of Our Lady of Lourdes ha...
